Clients are responsible for covering the cost of all materials.
Additionally, we have a preferred minimum contribution of £5.00 per hour for the
services rendered.

At NEPHRA, we understand how difficult it can be to find a trustworthy local tradesperson for small, everyday tasks. For our older clients especially, concerns about “scammers” and “rogue traders” can be particularly distressing. That’s why we’ve created the Handy Helper Scheme - to bring you peace of mind.

DIY & Minor Repairs From hanging curtain rails, shelves, and pictures to assembling flat-pack furniture - we've got you covered.

Basic Garden Maintenance Let us help with lawn mowing, weeding, and keeping your garden tidy.

Home Safety Installations We fit essential safety items like smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, and grab rails to keep your home secure and accessible.

Security Improvements Need to upgrade your home’s security? We can install or repair door and window locks, door chains, and peepholes.

Clients are responsible for the cost of materials plus a nominal fee, which goes directly to NEPHRA. This fee helps us continue our vital charity work within the community and ensures the sustainability of the Handy Helper service.
